3: I came to you in weakness--timid and trembling.
2 Corinthians 13:4
- Although he died on the cross in weakness, he now lives by the mighty power of God. We, too, are weak, but we live in him and have God's power--the power we use in dealing with you.
2 Corinthians 12:5
- That experience is something worth boasting about, but I am not going to do it. I am going to boast only about my weaknesses.

- Our dedication to Christ makes us look like fools, but you are so wise! We are weak, but you are so powerful! You are well thought of, but we are laughed at.
- To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, without enough clothes to keep us warm. We have endured many beatings, and we have no homes of our own.

- In everything we do we try to show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.
2 Corinthians 4:7
- But this precious treasure--this light and power that now shine within us--is held in perishable containers, that is, in our weak bodies. So everyone can see that our glorious power is from God and is not our own.
- We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we don't give up and quit.
- We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going.
- Through suffering, these bodies of ours constantly share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.
- Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be obvious in our dying bodies.
